Amoral bully? Give me a break. Penn State has a chance to vie for a national championship if they blow out some opponents this year. He is working the system, and he didn't break any rules. I'd do the same thing in his position, if I felt like a shutout might give me an extra boost with the committee or voters.

He took an undermatched kid and toyed with his head for nothing. I have Penn State alumni in my family, but I will *never* pull for PSU again, and this is an example of why.

This implies that you have been rooting for PSU up until this point. So, you stayed on board through the whole "decades of child molestation" affair. But, icing the kicker...that's just in poor taste. Have some class, Nittany Lions!

Also, if Penn State moves up to vie for a nat'l championship, they will have tens of thousands of fans jumping (back) onto the bandwagon. So, it will more than compensate for the few hundred Georgia State fans who were actually still paying attention.

And icing the kicker is not "toying with his head for nothing". And it was not for nothing. It was for 3 points.

And if the kid had made the second kick, you'd have never even heard about it.

And the article you linked said the home crowd loved it, cheering the move.

And what is an "undermatched kid"? The guy kicking the 31 yard field goal is a college football player.

I feel like even the WWII generation knew that running up the score was wrong.

The greatest generation didn't have to win over the College Football Playoff Selection Committee.
