I just think the kind of offense he runs has become stale. It was always the sort of feast-or-famine attack that created challenges for the defense, but lately it's been more famine than feast. Not sure what the next big thing is, but Iowa State would be a good team to check out. Vandy has cooled off lately, but that was another team that was accomplishing some things on offense without resorting to very many "spread" style tactics.

Re: Party might be over for Lfed.....1-5 nm

The thing that bothered me about Larry's "attack, attack, attack" (of course only on Offense) is that it is many times very difficult on the D because of lack of ball control and overwhelming speed of O.  Most of the time, when it is prudent to kill the clock say when you're leading by 20, 3-5 mins before the half and you have the other team on the ropes, quit throwing the fucking ball.  Ints and punts are not your friend at these times.  Know when to calmly put the game away!  Larry doesn't get this.

Kinda like last night when we were trying to put the game away yet Dawson was still calling pass plays that end up stopping the clock.  Why???

1-6. Lost again.  Thats 4 losses in a row.   Who can he blame?  He is playing with all his own recruits.   Over rated as a coach for sure.

He has definitely failed to adjust with the times. He should probably hire someone technical to run the offense for him. He's good at a lot of things, but if he's got it in his head that he's the next Sean Payton / Mike Leach / whatever he needs to let go of that.

Apparently they are completely riddled with injuries in key positions.  The QB threw 3 INTs last night and 67 total yards or something stupid like that.  Kinda sounds like USM (minus the injuries) except they have better competition than us...

Yeah, North Carolina was expected to have it tough this year due to their tough schedule and loss of some key players.  And yes, they have a lot of injuries right now.

Pretty good take on UNC right now.  The most telling part of the whole story is this part:

Since arriving in Chapel Hill, Larry Fedora has guided UNC to a bowl game every season that they have been eligible. You know who did not accomplish that feat? Bill Dooley, Dick Crum, Mack Brown, Carl Torbush, John Bunting, and Butch Davis. (Note: In 2012, had UNC not been banned from the post-season they would have qualified for a bowl, been the official Coastal Division champions, and played in the ACC title-game).

What Fedora has achieved are not normal results.
