I'm going by what the coaches themselves said about Cilantro before the season.

The same ones who started Datoo and set up in the shotgun on 2nd down at the one foot line? Maybe Jumbo was right, that they should go back to Lorman.

Everyone lives and learns. I'm sure Hop is not the first to do it but I agree in principle.

Majority of our fan base predicted a beat down.  Final was one TD difference now a melt down occurs. New line, new QB, new LB's, and new corners.  We could, actually should have, won this game. Not happy with the loss but this team played better than expected.  Let's also remember Kentucky returned many players from last year 7-5 team.

Folks can bitch, as usual, but this team played well never giving up. Boys continue to mature and this season could be solid. Much different than the 'only win 4' some suggest

guilty on all counts....

however, I did take USM at the half to salvage part of my initial play on ky jello....and that was simply due to KG coming in on the last play of the 1st half......I knew he would start the 2nd after that move....

KH is a wet firecracker.....

Griggs not getting the start is still a head scratcher. Most, not all, P5 teams 'may' have two QB fighting it out. Southern Miss not so much

I think all of us agree on that one....

I still can't believe he started him and left him in for the 'entire' first half....

I was calling for the yank after the 2nd series just to be nice.....review the game thread.....

oh wellzy.....

It was his punishment for blowing off school or whatever. Shouldn't have lasted as long as it did IMO.

Yes. I was trying to let that pass for now but you should never, and I mean ever, set up in the shotgun on the 1 yard line. Either one. Going in or going out.

Did it on the north end coming out a series or two later.

The banana peel uniforms were a nice ode to the SWAC too.

Yes. Amazingly stupid unless they just can't complete an under center exchange. If that is the case, more reason to be alarmed at the coaching.

Dawson may believe Howard can do it all with his feet. Kid is a fighter but doesn't appear to have the skill set for D1 QB

FR WR was a beast. Made Griggs look good. Get it near him, it is his ball. Some good play on D as well. However, I don't think they were playing a good offensive team. Time will tell.

Wouldn't surprise me if we won C-DOA this year, honestly.

On offense?  Child please. Your pop is going to come slap you in the head for that statement. Do better.

Exactly correct, only possible exception is Tennessee. Time will tell all but Kentucky is much better than some give credit.

Raise and extension, hello Poydras.

Flip it around you'll be closer. Competition in CUSA isn't impressive

we keep turning the ball over like we have the last 14 games and 4-8 may be right. we are -2 right now. last year I believe we were -32 or -34.

Turnovers are a concern. Last year absolutely pathetic. Kentucky loss due to turnovers
