This one uses the ETA 2892 movement. I'm a bit of a hobbyist when it comes to watch movements. The 2892 is a pretty widespread automatic (self-winding mechanical) Swiss movement. Some more info:
Well then you must love my caliber 3187...its a fairly complex movement.

I'll start, I've got a 2014 Rolex Explorer II. I wanted GMT functionality but the Breitling Super Ocean I had prior to this one was fucking heavy even tho it was only like 40mm. The Explorer II is a full 42mm and is large on my small wrist but is not heavy. I was torn between the Ex II and the GMT Master but the Explorer II has maximum shock absorbing capabilities and no high-polished links in the bracelet. I couldn't be happier with my selection some 3+ years later but do have a current dream watch...the Rolex Sky Dweller.
Now that Breitling is utilizing an in-house movement, they too are attractive to me but they don't hold their value quite as well as the Rolex.
Very nice watch.
I like the 42mm size. I'm not a giant.
The bezel is fixed, but functional. The markings are intended for a 24-hour hand.
The movement is an in-house Rolex design. It's Swiss, automatic, and rated for +/- 2 seconds per day.
It's a 10 atmosphere watch, which means it's well-suited for swimming.
This watch is COSC certified as a chronometer.
