Or you can speculate that no one is working on a 'plan' and the 'plan' is to maintain radio silence ( except for leaks) and ride the storm out.
Very possible. Found it interesting that about an hour after The Athletic and Sun Herald published the latest Hop story last night Jeff Mitchell posted a fluff piece on the basketball program. Either he had zero clue what transpired one hour earlier or he intentionally wanted to change the narrative. The only response to his fluff tweet was someone who simply said #supportjhop.....
I saw and read that as well. At first I started to shake my head only to stop as it wasn't worth it. He ill most likely be our next AD. He can be controlled. He will continue to apply the feel good with no plan.

]]>One point is clear. No coach of any value will take on this position with no AD and a President that fails to support his staff. Bennett has essentially black balled USM in the coaching profession. If Hop remains, no OC will want to enter this dysfunctional situation that has played out on a national stage.
Prepare to lose recruits, coaches and financial support until this is fully resolved. We are close to returning to 2012 form and another full rebuild from top to bottom.
Other programs are waiting for the chips to fall and pick up any pieces of value like Billings.
