It has been a long while. I have gotten out of the loop except the equipment trucks. All is well in Atlanta. I hope you are too. Basketball was a surprise. Baseball was oh so close and football season will be here in a couple of months.

It must have been less than $2M. The article indicates that I wrote this on Twitter. I wonder if USM had the goods on CUSA since Bill McCLellan was pretty much involved in the creation. USM was also the last remaining all sports member. UAB did not have football until later. It made me wonder if USM got off much cheaper than Marshall and ODU. If it did, the others may push for the same deal.

A conversation I had but pretty much paraphrased. Sunbelt is very tight lipped. No leaks, they will release a single message. They have a strong front office, unlike Judy. CUSA being CUSA with this you cannot leave nonsense. There is a lot of lawyer BS to work through now. The CUSA media deal is about to crater. ESPN wanted USM in the Sunbelt and helped make this happen. I did not answer the question if we do it this year or next. We will see.

Here are the latest equipment transporters and future schedules. The schedules are assuming USM plays in the Sunbelt next year. Since there is no schools to move out like the AAC, the story is USM starts next year. This may be true with Western and Middle if they move to the MAC.
