2017 Pac-12 championship: USC vs. Stanford

I've long said it, that Stan Ford runs a good university. He also seems to be a bit of a whackjob, though.

USC and Vandy are two college marching bands that I dislike.

Stanford runs an interesting offense. It's a little bit of everything.

Stanford downs the punt inside the 5 though. Go scientists.

First down Stanford. It's interesting what they're trying to do.

Tee Martin is the USC offensive coordinator and he won a national championship at Tennessee. Will he not step in and help his Volunteers?

I can't imagine he's anywhere near the best qualified for HC job.

No, he's not. Schiano and Leach are certainly better qualified.

At this point, though, they're flirting with having to make a "safety" hire. That could be Les Miles, or Fulmer stepping in himself, or having Hoke stick around. Those three are really has-beens.

Tee Martin is a relatively successful P5 coordinator; generally you'd expect a guy like that to be HC at a smaller school before getting an SEC head coach job, but Tennessee seems pretty desperate. That's why I suggested it.
