So, I rolled out this morning......

...made a plan for the day, set my DirectV recorder for all the great games today. I remarked to my wife about how good the matchups are. I turned the TV to the UCF - Memphis game, thinking, "I'm not gonna watch every play, but this is two good teams. Should be interesting".

Then it occurred to me, "Wait. When is the C-USA championship game? I know I saw something about it on the message board. Shit, who's even playing?" I couldn't remember. No kidding. I had to go to computer and look it up. I was recording networks and forgot all about ESPN. If my son had asked, I could not have told him who was in the C-USA championship game.

Working those 12 steps, chief.

It's not even a good game. Lane Kiffin is a tiny speck of competence in a sea of the FCS-worthy.

It's hard for me to believe that the few extra hundred thousand dollars they spend on Kiffin compared to what we pay Hopson isn't a good investment. I'd imagine it's paying off pretty quickly for them, too.

So much for the excuses of "we're young" or "wait till I get my own players"
But hey, FAU now has to worry about losing their coach. Meanwhile, we are secure with Hop as long as he wins 6 or 7 a year.

Kiffen has proven a ‘good’ coach can win immediately in the gawd aweful conference.

Damn! North Texas sux! I can’t believe Southern Miss lost to them (or anyone on this year’s schedule actually).

Our loss to UT was more confusing.....Littrell is probably a year ahead of where Fedora was at USM. He will be the hot name next season. Their schedule in 2018 plays out nicely and will give him ability to have a statement game against a rebuilding Arkansas and a local matchup against Chad Morris and SMU.

Who's arguing that it is not?

The people who decided to hire Hopson, whether administrators or donors.

You must not have a window seat.

Loss of cabin pressure can also cause feelings of euphoria. Good thing to know if you suddenly find yourself enjoying air travel way too much.

That, or his flying saucer ride didn't offer a view.

The games where Keon was our best option were necessarily crap shoots. Did we lose a game where Kwadra started and finished, though? I don't remember one.
