Re: For now, plan is for Scott Frost to coach UCF's bowl game

Several media outlets reported that his UCF staff was telling potential UCF recruits that they would recruit them to Nebraska once the hire was official. UCF needs to move on.

"When Nugget II was found dead that cold December morning, Southern Miss had a serious problem on its hands. The handler who starved Nugget II is presumably still out there, his freedom bought for $2,000 from alumni coffers."

Bad idea for both sides. He should be recruiting for Nebraska while UCF should be showing their recruits they are capable of moving on and being adults.

I think UCF is thinking short term. They want to win the bowl game.

Hearing that Sumlin is the new man at UCF.  Will take over immediately.

Interesting choice. Seems kind of conservative.

Awesome move by Sumlin. Gets to coach up the current talent on UCF.....probably will get north of 2 million a year.....and gets to coach against this guy one more time next season......

Good point made yesterday regarding UCF. Scott Frost made 3.7 million as coach of UCF over two years. Nebraska has to pay UCF 3 million for his contract buyout.

Total UCF investment for Scott Frost.....700K, or 350K per year

Now that’s a solid investment.
