If you Google this procedure, you'll find that it is unique to one hospital in Pennsylvania. So what we have here is a Pittsburgh athlete undergoing a medical procedure that has been pioneered in Pittsburgh. Whether it works out or not, it is a unique and innovative procedure and we should all pray for the patient. It's a fascinating story. If Mr. Shazier ever plays football again, it will be a testament to the competence of the Pittsburgh medical center.
