I concur.....an upgrade to that logo design may be in order with the occasional throwback as a reminder.....

it was a sad day when we went yellow and became the 'mustard birds'....if that doesn't happen, the Iowa lawsuit doesn't happen....

It really shocked me, too. Yellow isn't gold.

If my memory of who wore what and when is accurate, though, it's probably a "blessing in the skies" that those teams weren't allowed to sully the legacy of USM's real uniforms.

I've mentioned my number one pet peeve, and it has, unfortunately, endured much longer than the yellow helmets: clipping the corners on the Southern Miss wordmark. It neuters the whole damn thing.
