Not barely. With an edge.

No thunder stealing.

They would call plays coming down the floor to fuck with people.

Especially the pikes.

Near fight every game.

Games would end 10-15 to nothing and wouldn’t be that close.

The steroid/paranoid part is spot on. Threw out some midget named Russell one night after he stormed the house in a roid rage.

Can’t remember the lead pikey alphas name during the time. He was the goalie on floor hockey. What a dick.

I'm sorry, but it's way tooooooooooooooo late in the game to fix any of that......I could give you 20 things to start with and it's a gimme putt you wouldn't be able to grasp the concepts after seeing that....

This video is kind of old, and I actually took some lessons after it was filmed. I'm still pretty bad, but the hunchback problem has at least been replaced by other problems.

It's tough overcoming the bad habits. The really sad thing is that I used to be a lot better.

What happened? Well, one humid summer day at City Park I started losing my grip on the club and hitting slices. That led to a lot of bad habits. I started using a very tight grip (stupid). I had cord grips put on all my clubs... because fancy equipment can totally cure what ails your golf game, right?  wink

There was even a period of several months where I would actually let go of the club briefly at the top of my backswing. Even that was surprisingly difficult to stop doing.

I fought through that, and I fixed my grip. There are days when I hit the ball well, and a lot of days when I don't. I'm able to enjoy it. You've got to enjoy the process and the psychology even when the results aren't there.

I can't emphasize enough learning what opposed palms means in importance.....when I first picked up the game as a tyke, I went to my first kids clinic at HCC.....ol' Norval looked at my grip and simply said, do this and come back in a month if it doesn't work......

I never took another lesson again until video tech became available......then it was just me under the oak behind the 9th green at van hooky checking tape.....

Re: Me swinging a golf club... brutal critiques welcome

sir charles thinks he's choppin' wood....at least his left arm is straight (which is a fallacy).....toss in that double sided axe grip and the mental pause on the downswing is what lends to all the other problems......

the end result is this......

you're right.....he was a technical robot.....how 'bout bobby jones or slammin' sammy

one can square up the club at impact many a way these days or past....it's simply today's tech that keeps it straighter and longer.....and sir charles is hardly the bastion of supple like hogan was....hogan understood the principle of 'resistance'

sir charles is simply skull fucked in more ways than one.....

but that's flies over everyone on this board's head....you can't teach 'the golf swing'.....you can only mold the one you're born with by starting with the fundamentals

old dogs don't have the dedication nor ability to practice and hone their's as req'd....

my advice is to never let the cooler run out of beer or whiskey past a certain time line

Neither was mine.... I was always amazed at how straight daly kept his arm as big
As he was... Rocco's wasn't too straight either
