Do an impressive job on several other Zeppelin tunes, very talented.

Re: Music selection

I found it odd that Garfunkel was touring with John Oates and that it was listed under comedy acts for this concert......apparently it’s just a couple of girls. Decent lineup regardless.....

Re: Music selection

Garfunkel and Oates look pretty hipstery. If I were there I might go just to observe the period piece facial hair and fedoras in the audience.

Bring back Reed V. "Pie" TurkPalmer Eustachy.

All I can think of when I see this lineup is that Snow Patrol is somewhere wondering what in the hell they did wrong not to get an invite....

Ordered the Soundstage performance DVD and ripped the music to CD. Seems like more LZ tunes there than in this youtube chain.

Re: Music selection

After about 20+ years of enjoying their music I finally saw Heart about 8 years ago in Atlanta when they toured with Def Leppard. The venue(Lakewood Ampitheater) lost power due to some severe storms that hit the area about an hour before they took the stage. By the time the power was restored they cut Heart's setlist in half. Sadly, no LZ tunes were played.
Nancy is a legit guitarist. She is the reason I went with Martin Guitars for my acoustic-electric.

Re: Music selection

I saw Steve Vai with Whitesnake in the old Omni with Kix as the opening act. I heard rumors back in the day that they paid Vai a million dollars to cut the album and do one tour with the band. He was one of if not the best concert solos I have seen to date.....with my neighbor Andy Timmons a close second.....

Re: Music selection

Weezer drops a new cover album today to compliment the earlier release of their cover of Toto's Africa. The album is not bad. The internet is blowing up over their cover of TLC's No Scrubs... Here is the song list from the Teal Album:

Weezer LOL... used to know a woman who would go on long, funny rants about them when she drank. I guess they are a bit thick with postmodern irony.
