This kid needed help for years, and he was just not getting it. Instead of getting him the proper mental care he obviously needed he got reprimanded time and again and then expelled from school kicked to the curb. The mental health system in America is a joke. We all see the problems of it daily on the street yet no one helps these people, and when they finally snap and do harm to others we call them "nut jobs" and "crazy" and "evil" and all sorts of stupid names bred out of ignorance that does nothing to help.

So, they had two separate strong credible warnings that could have easily been run to ground, and twice did nothing.

And we are to believe that in light of the several previous similar horrific events that they were completely insensitive to leads of this nature and their lack of attention and action were just unfortunate bureaucratic snafus.

Difficult to buy that.

The FBI has become a thoroughly agenda-driven organization. Spree killings aren't a priority because they make things difficult for their political opponents. That's the real story here, not the fact that some hillbilly gets to have a pistol grip on his rifle.

Just in. Confirmation on what I said. Armed guard sat on his ass during the shooting and did nothing. He has now resigned and retired. Nice job rental cop hero.

A Florida sheriff’s officer who did “nothing” during the Parkland school shooting last week has resigned in disgrace, officials said Thursday.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School resource officer Scot Peterson was armed, in uniform and “clearly” knew there was an active shooter but did “nothing” to intervene, according to Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.

Security footage shows Peterson “arrive at the west side of building 12, take up a position and he never went in,” according to Israel, who said the revelations made him “sick to [his] stomach.”

Israel said Peterson should have “Went in, address the killer, kill the killer.”

“After seeing video, witness statements and Scot Peterson’s very own statement, I decided this morning to suspend Scot Peterson without pay, pending an internal investigation,” Israel said. “As is his right, Scot Peterson chose to resign.

Calls and knocks on his door at his home went unanswered.

This knucklehead made over $101,000 last year as a school cop. That's ridiculous. All these "civil servant" salaries have become really inflated. We have garbage men with $300,000 pensions, cops making six figure salaries, etc. and it ought to be curtailed.
