Scott Berry

So ... how many of you were yapping for his head 3 years ago ? How many still think he should have been fired ? How many will call for his dismissal the first time we lose 2 in a row ?  Inquiring minds want to know .

Re: Scott Berry

He should have been fired a couple of years ago without question. Let’s not get blinded by a weekend sweep against MSU and last years regional. He still only beat UIC and USA at home. He still sucks big time in the post season.......if he actually makes the post season.

Re: Scott Berry

Well, Chad did do a better coaching job the first 2 games then Berry did in the last game. You do realize Berry was suspended the first 2 games don't you? He had nothing to do with those wins.

Uh ...... right . He did not recruit . He did not organize practice or off season program or anything . You do realize how silly your post was, right ? I'll give you a mulligan and let you try again.

Or hire the assistant coaches , including Chad and Ostrander . Please put more time and effort into your replies as that one did not even mount a good argument .

Good lawd dude.....you have no idea who Chad is do you.....

“Caillet, who can most often be found pounding the pavement on the recruiting trail or camped out behind home plate during batting practice studying each player’s every swing, is widely considered one of the top assistant coaches in all of college baseball. In 2017, he was named C-USA Assistant Coach of the Year. The season before, Caillet was recognized as one of the two best recruiters in the league based on a poll conducted by D1baseball.com”

Re: Scott Berry

Berry is relatively cheap, is the incumbent, and gives the athletic department enough material to engage in some billboard puffery. Is he a Skip Bertman? No. He's probably not even a Rick Jones. But he's not going anywhere.

What if......this team doesn’t qualify for post season play this year or gets bounced in two games with a loss to a school like Jacksonville St or SW Directional U? I would hope that Berry would be replaced by Chad since Chad be good as gone probably after this season.

Re: Scott Berry

Chad is the real reason for our success, not Berry. Many want Chad as our skipper, including the players.

Were the wins at home? Don't underestimate the importance of that vs. an imaginary rival.

I couldn't resist...I fucked with all of them I came in contact with!  They looked down when they saw my hat but I didn't let them off the hook.  Fuck that, I'll use this until they beat us again.
