USM @ USA 2018 baseball: some observations

USM's bullpen depth is not infinite, particularly after converting Sandlin to a starter.

Fielding excellence is not a given. Most teams that field well will eventually field poorly.

USM is a good baseball team, but not necessarily a great baseball team.

Gabriel Montenegro is a solid D-I starter. The future is relatively bright for USM.

Reynolds, although not talented enough for SEC level baseball, is showing he can compete in CUSA......

He has a real future as a Ty Cobb impersonator.

I move him to the two hole in the batting order....

He looks like a potential lead-off hitter to me, but what do I know? I'm just a computer dork.

Re: USM @ USA 2018 baseball: some observations

Either Sunbelt USA has better bullpen depth than we do and/or we played our cards poorly.

The sandman visited and we got sloppy/careless. Teddy bears and tater tots on the bus ride home.

Reynolds is our best player, and will be in the majors next year.

And Cheeto will show 'em at the combine.
