USM Adds Advanced Technology for Unmanned Marine Systems Certification

This is a very interesting new program / piece of hardware at USM. Seems to be a hands-on program for people who want to do research using ocean-going robotic vehicles, or to work for people doing such research:

One common denominator between USM's new robot boat and the waterskiing squirrel is a heavy reliance on Super Glue to make it all happen.

10s of dollars pour into our coffers!!  We'll now be able to compete with Drake, Incarnate Word, and Austin Peay. 

In all seriousness, it is great that we have the only program in the country.  You have to wonder if it's because there's no need for a program of this nature or if we have a couple guys in the Marine Science program that should be running the whole fuckin university! 

I'm going with the latter.
