I still don't understand what the big deal is here. Sports radio acts like this is such a horrible thing he lied about what he knew. Coaches lie all the time to the media. 3 games. Ok. Fine.

He violated a core value of the university and his contract by not following protocol with failing to report the issue to compliance.

Terrell Pryor got 5 games for getting a free tattoo. Urban gets 3 for not following protocol in an effort to protect an alleged domestic abuser........

It's a manufactured controversy. Urban Meyer is not a cop. He can't be expected to investigate every single crime that any of the hundreds of people involved in OSU football or Florida football might have committed. His job is to run a football program. He can't resolve every he said / she said controversy that might tangentially involve him, or even be expected to answer questions about them. That's ridiculous. If some wife got beaten up, the questions should be directed at the cops, her husband, and at her. Dragging the supposed perp's boss into it is stupid.
