I remember him working for the Raptors' G-League team a couple of seasons ago. His ceiling is probably as a relatively well-paid NBA assistant or front office guy at this point.

I don't think his knowledge of basketball strategy and technique is all that valuable in the NBA anymore. It's all traveling and Twitter in that league. He was a good fit for college hoops but he flew way the ****-ing close to the sun and did it more than a few times.

I would have been happy to sit with him as well. Since we could only pick one I went with OB. I have had many conversations with Mr. Mac in the past and eat with Coach Bower fairly often.

Mr. Mac knew about that hiring as did I. I am sure if you dug around a number of years ago you would find out about the "man behind the curtain."
