Honestly, you still think Jeremy is really keeping this clown if we lose to a 6-6 Tulane by 20+?

You NEVER want to cheer for a blowout but I honestly believe two more Tulane touchdowns closes the chapter on Hop

that's my take.....it's nothing more than a budget issue coupled with apathy from Bennett's ding-dong having a ripple effect upon our fan base....

This is the game I was expecting

I anticipated the fast start. I think everyone wanted to smack Tulane around- and the team did, for about 10 minutes of game time. The thing about every other coaching staff in the world, though, is that they adjust to what happens.

Year 4 and we are not a good football team. Poorly coached, and the lack of adjustment is absolutely piss poor and infuriating!

Jeremy hired Ladner. All is well.

Re: 2019 Armed Forces Bowl Game Thread

Hopson's one more 7-win season from passing Underwood, Vann, and Fedora on the all-time wins list. 9 wins puts him past Carmody, and behind only Bower and Bobby Collins.

I don't think he's going anywhere. He will retire at USM, and will even win exactly one C-USA championship. The only questions are how many current C-USA teams still remain for that season of championship glory (BookieWhere says 8), and how many buildings will be named after Hopson (BookieWhere says 0.5).

Re: 2019 Armed Forces Bowl Game Thread

If we lost to a decent team Jeremy could “try” to sell it for next season. He simply can’t. Even considering budget constraints he can’t sell this. If it comes down to a Lamont call then Jeremy is gone.
