Re: CUSA

Judy has extended invites to several new teams (NMSU, Liberty, and a couple FCS schools), but for some insane reason CUSA is wanting a $2 million dollar entry fee from each school and supposedly that's a sticking point. Thus none of those schools have accepted the invite yet. I can't imagine how on Earth Judy believes she has any leverage to demand entry fees. If they say no, the conference just folds.

CJudy is living in a bubble and not in the real world.  This is what a CJudy source stated regarding the Marshall move...."tough call", "not a great scenario" ..... SMH

"All eyes are on Marshall. Marshall has a tough decision," said a source intimately involved in the Conference USA discussions before Marshall made its call Friday. "Decide to go to the Sun Belt and be a middle-of-the-pack program in a 14-team league, or stay in Conference USA and be the most tradition-rich program and compete for championships."

"It's a tough call," said that first source said of Marshall. "A 16-team SEC is one thing. You're going to get multiple bids in every sport. In the Sun Belt, you're probably only going to get one [postseason] bid in every sport. It's not a great scenario."

Sounds familiar

"I don't think being in the 6th best conference is too bad."
"Look for Crickets Robertson to be one of the first 64 players chosen in the draft."
"Went to Starkville and came within one bad throw of taking the series."

Re: CUSA

Probably some really good spots for "muddin'" in Jacksonville, AL.

If you ever worried that Hattiesburg lacked hotel rooms, though, it's Midtown Manhattan compared to Jacksonville.
