No sir. We were still "Southern Mississippi" and our players were big and fast. The song they play after TDs was the same, though.

Is it weird that I like "Southern Mississippi" over "Southern Miss?". I think that it better indicates that the university/team represents a region of the country (Biloxi/Gulfport to Laurel). What the hell is a Southern Miss?
