Anyone remember when Fedora said USM was the flagship U in MS?

Forgot about this. Holy shit, this guy was amazing. Best coach we ever had.

Larry Fedora was exactly what USM needed. He was like a B12 injection for the soul. His successors have been OK at football coaching, with one glaring exception, but no one has been able to deal with the sad sacks and wet blankets like Mr. H. Lawrence Fedora did. I miss him.

Yeah, those were some fun years with Fedora. Hasn't been the same since. Man, I wish Fedora had still been the coach when we played Miss. State.

I was at that presser .. They paraded Bower and some other "dignitaries" around like they'd just captured Bin Ladin. When Fedora made the flagship statement the sheep bleating was almost deafening, I turned to a State friend of mine in the room and quipped " He doesn't lack for confidence does he?"

Too bad those sheep were pushed out of the plane on the way to Hawaii.

He was there holding hand with G and Aunt Martha. They all sang To The Top. Fedora chugged a six pack of Red Bull and a quart of Listerine and yelled To The Top multiple times with a clinched fist. The crowd went nuts and pissed themselves. It was a special day.
