It's an uphill climb as always, but it's also an opportunity.

Re: Cusa vrs p5 week two......

UK/USM and Vandy/MTSU are easily the most intriguing, since both games are at the CUSA school and are pretty winnable. UAB is playing Alabama A&M, not regular Alabama.

Would be funny if State went to Ruston in week 2 and got their shit pushed in. Happened in 2008 in Croom's last year.

That would be some hot bulldog-on-bulldog action.

Croom was a complete tool LOL.

Did I miss a memo?  When did UAB or ALA A&M become p5?

Generally they do. That game we lost to them Bower's last season was pretty infuriating. He was definitely on borrowed time after that shit.

Stephen muhfuggin' Reaves, baby!

That game is a pretty underappreciated TTT moment. Losing to a winless Rice team at home on a Tuesday night in front of about 15,000 was the beginning of the end for Bower. I was probably a little too young to fully grasp the situation, but I thought that Bower was toast for sure after getting smoked by UCF at home (on a Sunday night!). The Rice game started it though IMO.

We carried the conference last year week 1.....I fully expect us to carry the conference this year week 1.....

Close .. But the Boise State fiasco on the blue turf was the embryo. Owl State was indeed a piece of the puzzle.

Re: Cusa vrs p5 week two......

Losing to a Memphis team at home that was led by a Hattiesburg native at QB was another TTT that year.
