They do seem to run a lot more different stuff when Griggs is running the offense

The offense in general seems to elevate their play for Griggs

Why not just say, "Griggs is injured. We have him listed as "doubtful". That way, at least the USM fans understand what is going on...the medical situation with Griggs' wrist is the inhibiting factor. Why leave the cloud of uncertainty out there?

There is some advantage to not sharing information, I guess. If you can do it effectively, you force the other coaches to prepare for two different QBs.

go to hell Hopson.  you blew this season with your Daddy Love.

Sideline reporter recounted the medical history of the Griggs wrist injury. Plausible if you want to give Hopson the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure most do not.

he put Griggs in the game with the cast in the 4th.  he could have done that in the 1st Quarter.  same with UAB game. he could have started him the Kentucky game...or at least put him in much, much earlier. Hop fucked it all up.  the cast came off Sunday.  it couldnt have come off hours earlier?  he looked just fine on the 95 yard TD drive WITH the cast.

And that block n the back on the return was highly questionable at best......

She just admitted "the video does tend to freeze." I took the resolution down to 240p and that helps.

How must a team prepare for Keon, other than have a scout team play put on a #2 jersey? I mean, what does Keon do that you must prepare specially for? Tip drill? Underthrows?

Must better prepare for fumble recovery and interceptions

Nice job getting the correct angle on their RB by Tavaris Moore.

Re: USM at Rice 2017 football game thread

There's C-USA football, which is the brand we play, and it's not very very good. Then there's the shitshow brand that Rice and UTEP are playing these days, which is just hard to watch.

I think you'd be advised to focus on Ito more if Keon starts. You can "key on" him heh heh.

Re: USM at Rice 2017 football game thread

They just showed Rice's QBs' stats and those two make Keon and Kwadra look like Montana and Steve Young in comparison.

And that's 7 Rice points assisted by a personal foul.
