2018 Ms High Schhol State Championshipsho may not know

For those who do not know . Southern Miss will host the State Championships the next two years . [ One concern which I will detail later .] This is a fantastic opportunity to bring in 12 teams and 12 communities to showcase our University and athletic program . A great amount of work and time went into bringing these games to Southern Miss . The hosting of two consecutive games was brought about by the effort and work of South Ms. Superintendents who were extremely upset about the political nature in the manner in which the games were scheduled for Ole Miss and Ms. State over the last 4 years . The one concern is that the MHSAA added a clause stipulating a certain number of dressing rooms be made available [ some believe in an effort to justify excluding Southern Miss.]  I hope our current athletic director is aware of this stipulation and does not allow it to be a sticking point . I personally fear these games should never have left Jackson but I do look forward to Southern Miss having an opportunity to host . I would have loved to attend this year but the round trip drive to Oxford was just too much .

Some State assholes think it's unfair that USM gets to host the MHSAA titles and the MS/AL game every other year. To hell with 'em.

I'd bet almost anything that the 2018 and 2019 games will have better attendance than the Oxford or Starkville years.

there's a rumor going around we're going to pressure wash the Rock for this high profile scenario as a ROI.....

I took/posted a pic  of the only visible portion from the porch Sakura last year (where the Carlisle signage is located) (some dipshite asked, "what the fuck am I looking at"?).....you could tell someone must've fallen of the lift b/c it was 50% finished then and still is today.....shit has bled through to the point of puking after pounding a 1/5 of jaeger.....

and the view of the interior as you head north on 49 from hardy???? well............

but the bathrooms are really nice now after a 1 yr of reconstruction.....
