Re: Final NCAA playoff predictions

Probably Ohio St but it’s hard to get past that beating by Iowa. The argument against Bama is that they didn’t beat anyone. It’s not like they didn’t schedule anyone outside of conference. People forget FSU was #3 in the country when they played them. Even Fresno had a cup of coffee as a ranked team this week. Who knows....

Georgia is in. You can just about disregard that first Auburn-UGA game after last night. It will be written off as a "bad day at the office."

Clemson's difficult-to-explain-otherwise loss to Syracuse and Oklahoma's single loss both fall into the same category.

So there's your top three: three teams with a single fairly ugly loss each.

After that, things get tough.

Bama blew it. Saban can hem and haw about it, but the rest of the country has zero desire to see them in the playoff, and the team gave the committee the excuse it needed to leave them out.

That said, is an Ohio State team with two losses getting in before Bama? It would be difficult to justify. Bama is another team with a single ugly loss.

Re: Final NCAA playoff predictions

The Tides dilemma was that Auburn had to win. Then they had the strongest argument of “our only loss was to” the number 2 team in the playoffs.
Agree it will be OSU...deja vu all over again as Clemson beats them by 50 in the semi’s.
Can’t wait to see / hear / read Bama nation bat shit gibberish.
