Let's just not repeat that damned 2002 Houston Bowl. That was a relatively nearby game against OK State. The team was a year away from peaking, but they hung with OSU until late in the game and lost by 10. People were pissed off because 2000-2002 wasn't like 1997-1999. Hopefully people have learned their lesson since.
