some ex FSU player named Odell Haggins will be the Interim Coach for FSU. we better not let a guy named "Odell" beat us. wasn't that the name of the guy that Goober hired once at Wally's Service Station and he fucked everything up?. Odell. wtf kind of name is Odell? and they did a rap video in the 80's ala Chicago Bears. here it is , it's pretty bad so be prepared.

Looks like UTEP laid another turd.
Went 8-26 @ Houston before Art Briles.

Re: Wow, plenty of coaching jobs available.....and maybe more.

Former Florida International coach that failed miserably has now been given the keys to Oregon(Mario Cristobal).

Ms State scooped up Mark Hudspeth....that didn't take long. He will now coach tight ends for the Bulldogs.

Cristobal is a bit of a head-scratcher. I don't think promoting a coordinator after the HC leaves for a better job is typical at that level.  I guess you could sort of put Orgeron in that category.

Re: Wow, plenty of coaching jobs available.....and maybe more.

Depending on the financial commitment from Oregon maybe its just a two year play until the coaching market opens up. With all of the money Nike has, plus the payout from FSU to Oregon, one would think they could get a top candidate to take over that program.

Coach O is good for football but not as the leader of LSU. That one always seemed to me as a temporary, low risk investment due to the financial issues in the state of Louisiana. Next season will be his last as head ball coach.

I still believe the biggest names will still fall this off season. I believe as soon as The Cowboys are eliminated from the playoffs Jerry Jones will make a play for either Saban or Harbaugh. Saban had an agreement in place two years ago to take the Giants job but his wife wasn't on board with moving to NY. This is Sabans last season at Bama. Jerry Jones time on this earth is running out and his next coach might be his last HC hire if he wants to get that first Super Bowl not tied to Jimmy Johnson.
