Music City Bowl: terrible call

The men in the striped shirts will never miss an opportunity to remind us who the real stars of the show are. I've watched this clip several times and I'm still confused as to why Kentucky's back got penalized, much less ejected. Looks to me like the referee inexplicably decided to touch him after the play, the back didn't like it, and the ref's little feelings got hurt.
