The more I hear about it the more it sounds like a very expensive FU to democrats and the NFL.....I guess if you have the money you can do whatever you want with it......I wonder if California will have a team....

I like the idea of simplified rules. The NFL's rules about what constitutes a catch are especially ridiculous.

I don't like the idea of parading the players out for the anthem and requiring them to stand. Sounds like a dog and pony show. It's blatant pandering to reactionary politics.

The "no players with DUIs" comment struck me as weird. What about domestic violence? Theft? Tax evasion? There is a legal category called "crimes of moral turpitude" and those are the crimes that ought to get pro athletes fired, not having the wrong molecules in your bloodstream.
