that was a little tingly at the end.....

why mack wasn't hugging the line in the 9th is beyond me......two foul balls should have been caught to end the game.....toss in the MW 'slurve on the 2-2 count that was mystically called a ball, and it was close to a TTT momento.....

regardless, it's a win.......Wright looked good tonight....and MW's stroke looked much better tonight....he's not trying to jump on the first pitch anymore.....

Yup. As he's chilled out, he's heated up, and quickly. He's got a magnifying glass on him, but he's figuring it out.

Listening to Cox and Duggan call this one, I had a lot of nostalgic moments. The first college baseball game I went to was at Privateer Park (now Maestri Field) during their CWS season. They talked about how John Paul II said mass out in the grass there in 1987, and I was there, too.

Went to a lot of games at Lakefront Arena when Tim Floyd was there. I remember listening to UNO vs. Kansas in the tournament of 64 on a hidden radio.

Later I was a student at USM, and not too long ago (Adolf Johnson era) I was a student at UNO trying to reinvent myself. Makes me homesick to think about it all. It's a special part of the world and I like it when USM plays there.

I've only been to UNO for concerts mostly in the 80s (Queensryche, The Firm twice, Plant and some others I long forgot) and the one Lollapalooza in '96 with Waylon, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden and Metallica closing. So most of my memories of the Lakefront venue are cloudy and obscured for some reason
Some damn good times for sure...me thinks!

**had to edit since it was '96 I attended. I forgot that Devo was there!
