With the exception of a two for one with Ms St, what has he brought USM as far as future competition? Bama and Auburn were not inked on his watch, so who has he scheduled in order to elevate our brand and exposure on a national stage? The answer is Liberty......
Over the last 60 days alone I have seen Kansas St scramble to find a replacement game and sign Nichols St. UCLA had Rutgers cancel two games where we have openings. ECU just inked games with Marshall and Georgia St. South Carolina inked Georgia St. Oklahoma St, LSU, Oregon St, Ole Miss, Penn St, Syracuse, Fla, Memphis, West Virginia, Texas AM, Cinci, Cal, Kansas, Wash St, etc.... all schedule teams in the G5........like New Mexico St, Akron, Marshall, App St, Misso St, Kent St, Umass, Western Mich, Ohio, etc.....Even Charlotte is blowing off our doors with home games against Maryland, Duke, UNC as well as road games at South Carolina, Clemson, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee already booked. Middle Tennessee even has Missouri and Duke at home, as well as games with Michigan, Iowa, Georgia, Kentucky and Vandy on the books.
When is Gilbert going to start showing results for his 350K? For a guy that had all of these SEC connections with his years in the conference he is losing great opportunities to schools from the MAC, Sun Belt and CUSA.
