Re: TTT Timeframe?

At this point, anything other than the most specTTTacular of failures is expected with this team. To really tater it up, they'd need to get bounced out of the CUSA tournament without a win, or maybe miss the NCAAs entirely. Anything better than that is just performance as expected. USM lost a game to a team that lost a game to a team that lost a game to Tougaloo College.

Re: TTT Timeframe?

FAU is doing their own TTT right now. Losing to FIU takes them out of the regionals IMO. They would need to make the championship game to get back on the bubble. With Texas AM beating UGA today and winning yesterday they take the FAU spot right now.

I'm going to give them the benefit of experience from last season. They remember wetting the bed in Game 1 as the top seed last year and getting behind early in the tournament. Factor in that I believe Berry knows his post season legacy absolutely sucks after last seasons ending so I can see him adding more pressure on these guys to perform and limit the mistakes.

In 2009 it all started with a blowout over the 4 seed 15-2 that set the tone for the post season run. Would not be surprised if we win by double digits today and make a similar statement.

Verdict: TTT avoided....for now.....
