Ate at Firehouse subs today. Had the bbq brisket and cheddar. Nothing special about it.  Bread  just white loaf.

Are you weighing every morning while you pour through these free eats?

I've gained over 15lbs last couple months. Tommorow is free buffet at Golden Corral. I heard it's the best buffet in the USA. somehow I doubt that. But I'm gonna stuff my face with all that redneck cooking anyway.

If I'm doing Whataburger breakfast the only option is a sausage bob combo. You take the hash browns and put them on the sandwich. You take a side of picante sause and put on it. Then put the top bun back on.... That's hard to beat right there.

Re: Anybody eaten @ Dickies BBQ?

Had ben & Jerry's last night even though I'm  lactose intolerant and paid the price this morning with exploding diarrhea, so not worth it.   But Moe's just sent me a free burrito!

Those Moe Foes tried to give me food poisoning last week. The lettuce tasted like dirty mop water. The joke's on them, though. I've got an iron stomach. I drank from the public water fountain at Tulum and it didn't even slow me down.

Moes jumped the shark about 7 years ago.

It’s all about taco joints now....

I've decided that most of the newer stuff can't compete with plain old Tex-Mex anyway. In New Orleans I go to Carreta's Grill on Vets. In Atlanta I go to El Potro on Buford Highway. The menus are by-the-book, but it's all good.

Head up to downtown Crabapple and try Cans Taqueria. Solid Tex Mex and cool atmosphere.
I live in the epicenter for Tex Mex these days but Cans holds its own against the best I’ve tried.....I miss that place

In Atlanta I like Los Hermanos. Their specials are wonderful. At times they have goat.

Used to eat lengua sandwiches for breakfast when I was working in Norway.
