I never noticed the state of Florida on his hat before and find the star to be down in the Yankee infested area much less. I always pictured him in more of a northern part of the state.  And that was before the FSU connection. 

I do recall hearing that ole Burt was in attendance for our homecoming game vs FSU in '87...you remember the one: it was a brilliant idea to have Bobby Bowden in town so he could cram Sammie Smith up our ass in multiple off-tackle plays after another.  He ran up the score by trying not to.  Fuckin sucked how much superior they had become. 

And Horace didn't notice that another nail had entered the coffin.

Anyway, I appreciated that ole boy made the trip to Hattiesburg. RIP dude.
