Good interview with a player that experienced Fedora, EJ and Monken. Jason Bailey played softball with him and missed a few opportunities to ask his thoughts on the decision to not play Penn State and how the team viewed the bowl selection that season. Instead, he opted to talk about how awesome Hawaii must have been..... Bailey also lobbed another softball that Sullivan didn't swing at with his question on which coach would be best at shuffleboard..... Sullivan, who is coaching at the JUCO level these days, looks at this 2018 squad the same way he viewed the 2010 Eagles under Fedora. Stay the course and as long as we keep grinding it will start to pay off. When you listen to his experiences under Monk and Fed, you can't help but tell that we need someone with high energy driving this team. Kids need a commanding presence in the film room and on the field. Clearly we are missing that motivation with the product we have seen over the past few seasons.
"There was a great deal of character on that field today. They are for real, no doubt about it. This was no fluke." - Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant
