You're Welcome, UAB

Ranked in the top 25 for the first time in program history thanks to their OT win. They face Texas AM this weekend with Cinci, UCF and Boise all ranked ahead of them. If they take care of business this weekend, and the others lose one game by the end of the season you could have UAB as the highest ranked G5 program at the end of the season. Many might not remember that Jimbo Fisher was offered the UAB job back in 2004. Good article about how that process played out attached. Essentially, Bama shot it down(Bear Bryants son) who was also responsible for shutting down the UAB program a few years back due to a long standing grudge with Gene Bartow.
