a little food for thought....

if Alex Smith can't come back from his leg injury, Washington will take a major salary cap hit over the next two years....... all the sudden Mullen's current salary (50k over the min) makes him an interesting trade candidate if the 49ers are willing to deal him....

ol' Nick has easily exceeded most folks expectations...if he can cut down on his INTs, ol' boy has a legitimate shot to start for someone if he gets traded or when his contract ends in two years....
