Re: AAC

I figured USF would win this one. I hadn't seen much of them this season, but I did watch them beat a pretty good Georgia Tech team early on.

I was curious as well and looked it up. Last year FIU lost to Temple in the Bad Boy Mower Bowl 28-3.

I had my fingers crossed that it wasn't us......

Only team in history to start 7-0 and lose 6 in a row. Last win was a squeaker against UCONN mid October.

Re: AAC

Charlie Strong is not happy. He's planning on giving the program "a good washing."

Re: AAC

I’m trying to remember why Florida didn’t hire him to replace Zook.....it’s escaping me right now but give me a minute and I will remember it......

Re: AAC

Outside of a season opening loss at Duke, Army is without a doubt the best non P5 team playing this season. Beating Houston 63-7 only confirms that even more. How does Monken not get calls from legitimate programs? Guy has definitely earned the right to be a top candidate.

He mostly runs the option, right? That explains a lot of it. He would have been a good, turnkey option at GT, though.

Re: AAC

I would run the option at USM if it puts up 70 points on Houston and takes Oklahoma to OT.....

Re: AAC

Wasn't the original triple option the Houston Veer? Kind of ironic.

Re: AAC

Love how Kendall Briles almost takes the HC job at Texas St 3 weeks ago, then decides to stay at Houston and gets a new deal that makes him the highest paid assistant for a non P5 school, only to quit 2 hours after his high powered offense only puts up 14 on Army........only to now become the new O Coordinator at FSU. Keep in mind he was the O coordinator at FAU last season.....
