I get all of my information from Liquor Cabinet. He is never wrong and is the only official confirmation you need on all things Southern Miss.....

I always thought Tyson's attempt to say Douglas got a long count were laughable, cheap, and inappropriate. Douglas was practically counting along with the ref waiting for him to get to 8. When Tyson went down, you could tell he had no idea where he was for a second or two.

Douglas beat the ever-living crap out of Tyson. That was almost certainly the most memorable individual sports performance of my lifetime. The only thing I can remember that came close was done by a freakin' horse.

Re: Buster Douglas

...you would have had an official release if he was hired today. This smells like a Jussie Smollet hoax.

Re: Buster Douglas

He was on the “list” for the Indiana OC opening and was also “rumored” to be the new QB coach under James Coley who was just promoted at UGA. If there is a hold up on his official hiring, maybe It has to do with UGA. They have a background together under Richt back in their assistant grad days. I imagine the salary offer is bigger as the QB coach at UGA.

Re: Buster Douglas

Just a little side note........

The following college coaching changes were made on Monday, the same day we "hired" Buster.

Texas AM hired an OL coach from Oklahoma St
Oregon hired a WR coach from Texas Tech and a LB coach from Washington St
Youngstown St hired an OL coach from Pitt

All of these coaches understand the value of social media and the need to use it as a recruiting tool.

Only one of the Monday hires has not updated their Twitter account with their new job and school.

Care to guess which one?

Re: Buster Douglas

Outside of a Student Printz “official” label in one of their articles I don’t think it’s been officially blessed by USM but then again do they ever “officially” bless position coaches?

Could be absolutely nothing but it just seems odd by both parties
