Looks refreshing.

If Gary Chouest tries to take your Shipyard away, don't let him get away with it this time.

Is Petal looking for a baseball coach?

That little incident has mostly flown beneath the radar, but isn't losing your softball coach to the local high school pretty much the definition of ineptitude?

Pretty much everyone that has left in the last three years in any sport has turned out to be a solid upgrade. I think Wendy is a decent person, but I won’t be surprised if this turns out the same.

Mike Kinnison will probably never leave Delta State but Jeremy should call him and see if he is ready for a new challenge. He is only the best coach in the entire state. Pay the man 300K a year and see if he bites.

Hmmm... let me ponder that one.

No one cried when Shannon Dawson left. It will not surprise me if Buster and Scott get better results.

I know we lost an offensive line coach recently, too. I think that was a USM decision. He seemed like a chump.

I think you're right about McGillis leaving. Gilbert got more done. Too soon to judge the current AD, though.

On the other hand, Doc will be hard to replace. Ladner is not a slam-dunk to me at least.

Zac Woodfin has never been adequately replaced.

I'm sure I'm overlooking some others.

Not sure I agree that Gilbert got more done than McGillis.

I call that a push.....

I give Gilbert credit for little painting and washing projects. That can help.

An example: I can remember driving through Hattiesburg in the mid-1980s, when the US-49 overpass that USM paints was all rusted and dirty, and thinking "that place must be a dump."

10 years later they painted it white, black, and gold and what was a weakness became a strength.

The guy who paints the bridge is the guy I want to hire. The guy with the pie-in-the-sky scale model in his trunk (while the stadium is still filthy) is not.

I forget Woodfin leaving was so recent. We haven’t upgraded from that one.
