My guess is it's over now. They just have to put the next plan in place. It could take a few weeks.

I think you will continue to see the trend of killing coaches quickly early in the season in order to please the alumni money people and secure the replacement coach immediately. With A&M, LSU, Mizzu, Ole Miss, Tennessee and possibly Arkansas all looking for a new coach in the same conference it's going to be interesting. Dan Mullen will have a few new options coming his way so add MSU to that list.
