Re: OT: MLB playoff thread

I hate the idea of playing 162 games and have your season decided by just 27 outs but that pressure also made that game awesome last night. Not sure I subscribe to the " we won a series" comments being made by Nats fans taking shots at Bryce Harper but since I hate Bryce Harper I will allow it.........

Re: OT: MLB playoff thread

Betting on baseball LOL... you might as well ask me to parallel park a Peterbilt.

I do know one thing: last night wasn't a series. It was technically playoffs but really more of a play-in.

Not gonna lie.....those A’s socks are legit. Too bad they can’t generate any runs. They could use Tim Hudson one more time.....

Re: OT: MLB playoff thread

Awkward time for a game. There were people tailgating in our parking lot at work smile.

Keuchel, Freeman, and most of the people the Braves need are looking dialed-in. Bodes well.

Re: OT: MLB playoff thread

Yeah, that sucked. I don't understand what Snitker was going for with his calls to the bullpen. The whole thing seemed weird, yanking Keuckel, putting in Max Fried... I guess their stat lines look OK, but Greene and Melancon don't inspire much confidence in me.

Give him credit, Snitker has been dealing pretty well with a sow's-ear-of-a-bullpen all year. Just didn't see it tonight.

no way I would have plugged Fried in that spot....

That was my first thought. My second thought was that the Braves have had so much flux in their pitching staff lately that I don't really have a handle on what a good move would have been. My third thought was that you could probably say the same thing of Brian Snitker... but Fried? That can't be right.

And I can't believe Acuna got caught admiring another wannabe home run and then settling for a single. What do you do with that?

no way I would've wasted his arm in that spot.....he's one of your top 3 arms....

Shildt gambled on Mikolas and got lucky tonight....

screw the stats....our bullpen will eventually be our undoing...

edit: and yeah, I make fun of Acuna playing with his 'hair twigs' every fk'n time I see him do it....he does loves hisselffesses

Re: OT: MLB playoff thread

Snit said he would sit Acuna again but he is strapped because playoff rosters are done.

Dude helped himself in the 9th......sorta......even Freeman took a shot at him post game. Kid has to stop being.........a kid
