I think so. He and Bower decided to retreat from the one sided SEC gigs. And although I viewed it as an admission that we could no longer compete with them, it resulted in some solid games and we had success.


We still suck bigtime.

That's true, and it was fun beating the crap out of OK State.

Giannini was fixated on having a lot of home games. In the short term he was able to get good home games, but in the long term I don't think indifferent Hattiesburg townies were the audience he should have been playing to.
