New schedule

7 Home Games. First 4 at home.
Should win 10 games with this schedule, but we won't.

My guess would be another one of those famous years -> "maybe" before the season begins and a bunch of "if only" when the season is over.

Re: New schedule

Very manageable schedule. I'd say the floor is 8-4.

Re: New schedule

So, Tulane is our biggest game of the year, again. Too bad attendance will be limited. We'd probably get 25k, especially if it were a night game, say 7:30 kick. And that's another thing. Night games were always a hell of a lot more fun so it makes total sense that we'd not have them anymore. Trying to accommodate the "traveling fan" while ignoring the local potential seems like flawed logic to me, because it is.

IF Adams is back we MAY do well.

Re: New schedule

I bet they still announce attendance over 15K each game even if they are mandated to play without fans this season......

The "traveling fan" should get a hotel room anyway.

Yeah, at that new trendy hotel up the street from where Feelem Arms used to be.

Yeah, at that new trendy hotel up the street from where Feelem Arms used to be.

I think Feel Them Arms is actually a hotel now.

I've heard the whole Hattiesburg-has-no-hotels argument before. It has impacted me, I guess, in the sense that I've never stayed in a nice hotel in Hattiesburg. That said, I've never failed to find a crash pad after a USM football game.

And I understand they should have kept the name.

Re: New schedule

With AU off the schedule, I can't see 1 team on there that should beat us.
Perfect season. 14 & 0 with cusa CG & Bowl win.
Will forever have an * beside it that reads Wimpy Wuhan Virus Season

Probably, but if they don't then it won't be because of anything Hopson does. It'll just be some weird fluke of the plandemic.

Re: New schedule

Six home games, not seven. Tenn Tech and FCS is shutting it down just give it a few more minutes.....

What happens then? USM will be going to Arky St on 9/19. You think Hop is going 3-0 against USA, Tulane and Arky State?

Canning the season would be the ultimate sanctimony.
