You are probably correct.

The lemmings are racing to see who can out virtue signal the others, and insanity is now a virtue.

You gotta know that Judy and MPH are itching like they wiped with the wrong leaves.

Re: New schedule

I can do without the propaganda, college and pro. Anybody with any sense of decency isn't going to support that crap anyway.

Gonna have to revoke those scholarships and fire half the athletic staff I bet.

And so much for the "highly visible and much-traveled plaza of enhanced engagement".

Re: New schedule

IF CUSA was the only conference playing, could we draw more than flies ?
Would the conference champ also be the national champ ?
Would every team that participates be ranked in the top 20 ?
Would the exposure of being the only game in town hurt or help the conference ?
I say we roll the dice and run with it. About to go belly-up anyway so why not ?

Can we kick out ODU and give all their games to Notre Dame / BYU?

The answer is no......we couldn’t sellout for #4 Cal who had a Rose Bowl bid on the line. We even had Texas Longhorn fans trying to fill the Rock that game. Still couldn’t come close to selling it out.

I would not look to the Cal game as an example of USM's attendance problems. That was honestly a pretty depressing season in a lot of ways. Cincy and Memphis from that year still sting. I went to the Cal game, but I remember the fan base as being justifiably deflated at that point. People look back at the Bower years through rose-colored glasses, but the last 6 or 8 games of that season were horse shit. No decent coach who worked hard would have gone 7-5 with that team, and outside of the Facebook Taters everyone knew it.

Well...shit got real...three top donors (two from Texas, one from Mississippi) we’re going to send their money elsewhere. RB called a cooling off period. Shit show averted (at least for now)

Wasn't too hard to figure out that little message of Rodney's.

If I were wealthy enough to matter, though, I'd be extremely short on cash for anything other than better coaches for the three big sports.

Who says we have to do what the conference does? If we don't want to kill the season for some BLM poked out lips bullshit we could work out deals on the fly and probably play better teams who don't want to quit. I'm sure the TV preacher is prepared for this option.

ODU apparently does whatever the hell the want. USM should either do likewise, or sue the crap out of them. We're constantly told how much money they have up there.

Should win 10 games with this schedule, but we won't.

Can we cancel someone and play Nebraska?

Amen!

Saw where CUSA group is meeting again. Considering the type of wieners these people are...pretty simple math. If MPH wasn't neck deep in that shit I'd HOPE that USM would act independently for its own benefit. Fat chance.

Maybe this has bearing. Is NCAA encouraging a shutdown for political reasons?
