Surely this is an easier problem to solve than the disgusting mildew at MM Roberts. Doesn't USM have some world-class experts in making paint?

I would think they could install some sort of drop ceiling 1) to hide the ugliness of the dome and 2) to trap/increase crowd noise. But I’m sure that would be expensive and there are certainly other areas that need attention 1st

Apparently GT put a lot more steel in the roof:

That's a photo from the construction of their arena in '56. I don't think Reed Green has anything like that holding up the roof.
