What's the deal with Myles Brennan?

One of those names I've heard a lot over the years- kind of a "near miss" at LSU, I think, who wants off the roller coaster there and has an eye on Muh Transfer Portal. From Long Beach. This is what I have gleaned using the extremely limited energy I have for college football in 2021.

He'd follow Steven Reaves, Lowe (is he coming back?), and Alan Bridgford as P5 rejects at USM.

Maybe tots taste a little better after some time under the heat lamp?

What's the deal with Myles Brennan?

He's an injury prone career backup. Getting excited over a high school 4-star that transfers from a P5 school is pointless. There's a reason these guys transfer to G5 schools: they just aren't as good as their recruiting rankings predicted.

With that said, I'd love to have him.

He is staying at LSU which makes it sound like he was just waiting to see what Max Johnson was going to do. Once Max left Myles didn’t feel as threatened I guess.
