Seriously, of all the stragglers who haven't moved over from the old board, I miss this guy the least. Everything he posts is just obvious, 1965-era conventional wisdom. Defense wins championships. The team that scores the most points wins. USM football is poorly coached. Gee, thanks. I'm sure Jeremy appreciates your high quality commentary. You are what Dennis Miller on MNF should have been.

Wasn't even thinking of that LOL. Guess he's still clinging to the Giannini master plan. Play FCS caliber ball but as long as we have 7 home games per year for the Tractor Supply Mafia "we'll be fine."

nastybunch is the kind of guy that says "You've got to take it one game at a time" and says "throw out the record books we these two teams play" during a game between an 11-0 team and an 0-11 rival team.

And yet he doesn't want to play "whore games." If you think you've got a shot anyway, why dodge teams that offer a big payday? That makes zero fucking sense. Maybe if we say his name three times he'll appear and explai... oh wait, I've definitely tried that already.

We have fans that are still operating in the mindset of the 80s and 90s. They think we're still an elite mid-major program that is halfway worth a shit. Thus you have some people that are opposed to money games and demand only 1-1 deals with State and Ole Miss. It's absolutely idiotic.

The rest of CUSA doesn't feel that way. It's eroded a lot even in the last few years. We've won two division titles in the three or four years most of them have been in the league. We've got a nicer (if older) stadium than most of them, and we won some big games before a lot of their students were really conscious of football. Our last win over Bama was almost twenty years ago. Whatever prestige advantage we have over, say, UTSA is now vanishingly slim. People don't get this? That's truly stupid. Before 2012 and 2013 I might have understood that sort of attitude to some extent, but at this point it's just toxic.
